- Can I use frozen prawns?
- Yes, but defrost them and dry them thoroughly with kitchen paper, otherwise they will make the pizza soggy.
- When should I add the prawns?
- If cooked (pink), only at the end. If raw (grey), they can go in the oven, but 5-6 minutes is enough for them.
Swedish style prawn & dill pizza
Swedes love seafood, and this pizza evokes the flavours of Skagen toast. Fresh, sweet prawns, aromatic dill and a creamy base result in a light, elegant pizza. It is important not to overcook the prawns, or they will become rubbery.

Instructions
1
✓
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Tip: Hot oven, fast baking.
2
✓
Mix the soured cream with salt and pepper, spread on the dough. Sprinkle with cheese and onion.
Tip: A soured cream base suits seafood flavours better than tomato.
3
✓
Place the pizza in the oven without the prawns for about 10 minutes.
Tip: Since prawns cook faster than dough, we add them later.
4
✓
Remove, scatter over the prawns, and return for another 3-4 minutes.
Tip: This is enough time for the prawns to heat through/cook whilst remaining juicy.
5
✓
After baking, sprinkle generously with fresh dill and drizzle with oil.
Tip: Dill is heat sensitive and tastes best raw.
