Fresh orange juice with ginger
This drink is a true 'immune-shot' long drink version. The Vitamin C of orange and the gingerol content of ginger form a strong anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting pair. Not only healthy, but the piquancy of ginger makes the simple sweetness of orange juice exciting, waking up the taste buds. Perfect morning waker-upper instead of or alongside coffee.

Instructions
1
✓
Squeeze the oranges. Leave the pulp in or strain according to taste.
Tip: Fibre slows down fructose absorption, so it is healthier to leave it pulpy.
2
✓
Peel the ginger, then grate it on the finest grater.
Tip: Ginger fibres are tough, so fine grating is important. Or just squeeze its juice into the mix with your hand.
3
✓
Dissolve the honey in 50ml lukewarm water.
Tip: In cold orange juice, the honey would harden. Dilution helps homogenization.
4
✓
Mix the orange juice, grated ginger (or its juice), and the honey water.
Tip: Taste it! If too spicy, add more water or orange.
5
✓
Fill glasses with ice and pour the drink over it.
Tip: Ice softens the piquancy of the ginger.
