- What do I do if the patty domes during frying?
- When forming, press a small depression into the centre of the raw patty with your thumb, so it flattens out nicely when frying.
- Can I use shop-bought tomato sauce?
- Yes, but it's worth thickening it slightly by cooking so it doesn't soak the bun.

Instructions
Place the minced beef in a bowl, add salt, pepper, and crushed garlic.
Mix the meat with the spices using loose movements, then form four patties slightly larger than the diameter of the buns.
Heat a frying pan over medium-high heat, pour in a little olive oil, and place the patties in.
Fry the meat for 3-4 minutes per side until it gets a nice dark brown crust but remains juicy inside.
Remove meat to rest. Halve the buns, spread thinly with butter, and toast the cut sides in the pan until golden brown.
Spread the toasted inside of the buns with tomato sauce and sprinkle with oregano.
Place the hot patty on the bun base, top with mozzarella slice, and if necessary, place in the oven for 1 minute to melt the cheese.
Assemble the burger: pile pepperoni slices, fresh basil, and crisp iceberg lettuce on the cheesy meat, then cover with the bun top.
