Pour the liquid (almond milk) into the bottom of the machine.

Tip: This way the blades catch the solid pieces more easily and a vortex is formed.

Add the spinach, then the chopped fruits and the ice.

Tip: The ice cools the drink, which is important because the motor generates heat that could damage vitamins.

Add a little lemon juice.

Tip: Citric acid (Vitamin C) prevents the apple from browning.

Blend until creamy for about 45-60 seconds.

Tip: It is ready when you no longer see leaf fragments, just a uniform green cream.

Why is it frothy?
Blending introduces air into the drink. Fibres stabilise the foam. If it bothers you, let it stand for a minute or use a vacuum blender.
How long does it keep?
Consume immediately! Oxidation causes the colour to brown and vitamins (especially Vitamin C) to degrade.
