Spiced cinnamon milk
This is a 'liquid hug'. Cinnamon milk is not just a drink, but a ritual before bed or at the end of a stressful day. The tryptophan in warm milk has a calming effect, while the warming aroma of cinnamon relaxes you. Its greatness lies in its simplicity: just a few minutes, and the kitchen is filled with the scent of peace.

Instructions
1
✓
Pour the milk into the saucepan and drop in the cinnamon stick.
Tip: The cinnamon stick releases its flavour more slowly than ground, but gives a much cleaner, less 'dusty' taste experience.
2
✓
Start heating on medium heat. When it is steaming and tiny bubbles appear at the edge, turn the heat down to minimum.
Tip: Do not let it boil vigorously, as the taste of the milk changes (cooked milk taste) and nutrients are damaged.
3
✓
Let the cinnamon steep in the hot milk for another 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Tip: We call this infusion: under the effect of heat, the spice transfers its aromas to the liquid.
4
✓
Fish out the cinnamon stick and let the milk cool to a drinkable temperature (approx. 50-60°C).
Tip: If it's too hot, it will burn your tongue and you won't taste the flavours.
5
✓
Stir in the honey.
Tip: In lukewarm milk, honey retains its beneficial properties.
6
✓
Pour into mugs and dust the top with a hint of ground cinnamon.
Tip: Sip slowly.
